Head of Customer Experience

For more than a decade, this customer-experience generalist has shaped digital products and services at KBC Bank & Insurance. After earning a Professional Bachelor in Applied Information Technology from PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hasselt, he began his career as a Java developer at KBC Group and steadily moved up the ranks. Today he heads KBC’s Digital Customer Experience department—covering UX strategy, service design, user research, UX design, and visual UI design.

He holds Nielsen Norman Group UX-Certification with a specialty in UX management and has completed the Behavioral Design Academy at SUE Amsterdam.

Outside the bank, he runs his own company, hoger, delivering on- and offline communication—print, photo, video, and web—for brands such as KRC Genk, Group Bruno, Isostar (via strategie.agency), Toerisme Limburg, and other forward-looking SMEs. He also leads the audio-visual crew during KRC Genk home games.
